I've just finished the book I've been reading, This Time Next Year by Sophie Cousens. It was billed on Amazon as 'THE feel-good rom-com of 2020, and Get ready to fall for this year's most extraordinary love story

The general premise of the book is
Quinn and Minnie are born on New Year's Eve, in the same hospital, one minute apart.

Their lives may begin together, but their worlds couldn't be more different.

Thirty years later they find themselves together again in the same place, at the same time.

What if fate is trying to bring them together?

Maybe it's time to take a chance on love...

Was it extraordinary? No, but it was heart-warming, sparkling and uplifting. It was a great read, very easy, I got through it in just few days. I loved the setting in North London (although it made me miss travelling down to see my friends) and I loved many of the supporting characters. The downfall is I wish we could of seen more of Minnie and Quinn as a couple when they finally get together at the end, and that there could of been more of a revelation scene in regards to their previous near misses.

Also, there were several typo/grammar mistakes that have been missed in the editing process, which is always a shame.

Having said that, I'd definitely recommend it and would read another book by this author - this was her debut
